Research On The Vitality Of Jinan Baihuazhou Historic District Based On Multivariate Data

Historical district is a supporting platform for the study of historical buildings and the historical process of the city,which plays an important role in gathering the popularity of the city and displaying the characteristics of the city.Under the wave of urbanization in the past,most planning studies pay attention to the protection of physical entities and ignore the actual functional development,which makes the historical district fall into the dilemma of over development,lack of humanity,imbalance of vitality and single mode.In the new era of rapid development of information technology,Internet big data,Arc GIS and spatial syntax analysis software provide a new idea for urban and rural planning research.The combination of data quantitative analysis and traditional qualitative analysis can put forward more targeted solutions for the construction and promotion of the vitality of historical blocks,and protect the healthy development of urban historical blocks.This study selects the Bai Hua Zhou historical district which is the most complete and the largest area in the ancient city of Jinan as the research object,starting from the theoretical research of the vitality components of Historical District,using Arc GIS,Depthmap and other data analysis tools to analyze the factors affecting the vitality of Bai Hua Zhou Historical District,and excavate the vitality evolution mechanism of Bai Hua Zhou historical district.On the one hand,it provides a reference for the development of Bai Hua Zhou historical district as well as similar historical blocks,it puts forward relevant strategies and design methods to reshape the vitality of the blocks,so as to promote the healthy development of historical blocks.On the other hand,it supplements the relevant theories of the vitality research of historical blocks from the aspect of vitality quantification.First of all,according to the domestic and foreign research on the theory and practice of historical block protection,this study clarifies the connotation and formation mechanism of the vitality of historical blocks,and considers that the interaction among human activity,space and function is the basis of the vitality of historical blocks.On this basis,the external representation and internal elements are extracted as the main content of the vitality evaluation of Bai Hua Zhou historic district.Next,according to the selected evaluation content,five specific aspects of crowd number,location,traffic organization,spatial environment and block format are determined.According to previous studies,the corresponding evaluation indexes are summarized,and the evaluation methods,data sources and data processing methods are defined to build the vitality evaluation system of Bai Hua Zhou historical block.Then,through the analysis of the location and traffic function,land use status,historical buildings and open space of Bai Hua Zhou Historic District,and the quantitative analysis of external representation and internal elements,the thesis summarizes the current situation of the vitality of the district and the relationship between the vitality representation and internal elements,which is the basis of the vitality promotion strategy of Bai Hua Zhou historic district.Finally,based on the theoretical research and data analysis,the conclusion of this thesis is drawn: there are some problems in Bai Hua Zhou Historical District,such as uneven distribution of crowd activities,ineffective utilization of historical buildings,backward living environment and facilities,and insufficient outdoor open space,which have a negative impact on the vitality of the District.After the comparison of external representation and internal elements,we find that good location conditions,convenient traffic organization,highly recognizable space environment and diversified block functional formats can attract more people,promote more diverse types of crowd activities,and support the continuous generation of vitality of Bai Hua Zhou historical district.Therefore,in the future renovation of Bai Hua Zhou Historic District,the overall vitality level of the district can be improved from the aspects of clear functional orientation,improvement of physical space environment,introduction of diversified business forms and functional design in different periods.
