Design Research On Industrial Heritage Protection And Reuse Of Zaozhuang Swan Carpet Factory

With the acceleration of economic transformation and upgrading and the acceleration of urbanization,my country’s urban development model has changed from sprawling incremental expansion to connotative stock development.Early industrial buildings approved for construction on the outskirts of cities have become the center of cities at all levels.Correctly treating these inefficient use or even long-abandoned industrial resources has become the key to judging the comprehensive and coordinated development and overall revival of the city’s economy,culture,society,and environment.The thesis takes the protection and reuse design of Zao Zhuang City Swan Carpet Factory as the research topic,and takes the high-level laws and regulations of Zao Zhuang City planning,cultural and creative industry development as design guidance,through literature review,case analysis,questionnaire survey and field investigation research methods,To propose design methods for the protection and reuse of this type of building.The first chapter of the thesis sorts out the relevant policies and concepts of industrial heritage and heritage protection and utilization,analyzes the practical problems of industrial heritage protection,and interprets the guidance on the upper planning of Zao Zhuang City;The second chapter screens the successful cases of industrial heritage protection at home and abroad based on the guidance,analyzes foreign cases,accurately grasps the international trend of industrial heritage function replacement and protection from an international perspective,summarizes domestic cases,and finds out that it is suitable for my country’s local industry Suitable methods for building protection and utilization,combined with international trends and local methods,preliminarily put forward design methods and strategies for the protection and utilization of the Swan Carpet Factory;The third chapter is based on the field investigation of the carpet factory.First,two sets of questionnaires are developed.The first set of survey subjects are mainly the permanent residents around the swan factory.The subject has a deep understanding and emotions about the swan factory.Refine and grasp the direct content of the main features of the Swan Carpet Factory,such as the historical context,environmental characteristics,main architectural features,and important technological processes of the Swan Carpet Factory.The survey results can guide the overall planning strategy for the protection and utilization of the Swan Carpet Factory’s heritage.The second set of questionnaires is based on The upper-level planning of Zao Zhuang government requires targeted design to solve the practical problems faced by cultural and creative enterprises,artists,etc.who are the main residents and users,and get the protection and reuse of the factory environment,architecture,landscape,circulation,function,etc.The implementation strategy of the company integrates the results of the two questionnaires with the preliminary design methods of Chapter 2,and proposes the overall architectural planning and layout of the plant and the specific transformation design methods for individual buildings.To carry out this project can provide a theoretical basis for the same level of urban transformation in the class architectural heritage protection,will help to explore concrete measures for implementation by the Zao Zhuang "resource-exhausted cities" to "tourist city" development,will also have It helps to study the restoration methods of urban historical context and improve the happiness of urban residents.
