Research Of Reuse Of Waterfront Industrial Heritagein Yangtze River Protection

Due to geographical advantages,the waterfront area has gathered a large number of industrial facilities such as docks,shipyards,textile mills,and hydropower plants.As cities changed from traditional industrial society to late industrialization and reverse industrial society,the urban functional structure was adjusted accordingly.City managers accordingly implemented a series of reform measures such as industrial structure adjustment,land function replacement and relocation.These changes also directly changed the industrial function layout of the city,resulting in the vacancy and abandonment of the original large amount of industrial land in the waterfront.As a result,the economic vitality of these areas is declining,and the spatial image has become ruined.During the recession of the waterfront industrial zone,a large number of industrial facilities were left.Its factory buildings,production lines and distinctive production equipment all have obvious characteristics of the industrial era,which contain important cultural heritage values and constitute industrial civilization,Historical memory.The Yangmatou area of Jingzhou is adjacent to the Yangtze River and is the birthplace of modern industry in Hubei Province.It has gathered a large number of industrial plant buildings,some of which have been rated as excellent historical buildings in Jingzhou.With the country’s emphasis on the ecological construction of the Yangtze River and the rise of the Yangtze River Economic Belt strategy in recent years,the old industrial base along the Yangtze River in Jingzhou is facing tremendous pressure for space transformation,and the Yangtze area is the first to be affected as a part of the transformation plan.This paper investigates the historical evolution and current situation of the Yangtze area,through the summary of domestic and foreign excellent waterfront industrial heritage protection and reuse design cases and the development of four representative cities along the Yangtze River in the waterfront area.The ecological landscape design part of the construction example is combed,combined with the actual situation of the site,starting from the Yangtze River protection,to explore the spatial reconstruction of the waterfront industrial heritage site and the protection and reuse strategy of industrial heritage,and according to the sponge city rainwater management,The concept,based on actual projects,is planned and designed for the Yangtze Wharf area.To further improve the spatial image quality and public service level of the waterfront area.
