As market competition intensifies and production orders become more flexible,the manufacturing production model has gradually shifted to multiple varieties and small batches.Under this production mode,there are many kinds of materials involved in the production process,and the production plan changes frequently,which puts forward higher requirements for material management.Due to the lack of effective material information collection methods and reasonable material batching schemes in the production workshop,it is difficult for the warehouse to respond to the timely delivery of the materials,and the mismatched material information transfer process leads to the phenomenon of material shortage pause or material accumulation in the workshop.Therefore,reasonable and standardized material management is of great significance to ensure the stability of workshop production and improve production efficiency.This paper studies the management of material storage and distribution,and designs a material storage and distribution management system for multi product and small batch production mode.Firstly,based on the material management status and requirements analysis,the material management system functions and system architecture are proposed.Secondly,according to the characteristics of materials in the workshop,the material storage scheme and the material information collection scheme are designed.Subsequently,the material distribution scheme based on station material consumption is proposed,and the distribution time and volume in the distribution scheme are designed.The analytical and simulation methods are used to analyze the AGV configuration in the workshop,and the optimal AGV configuration quantity is obtained.Finally,based on the theoretical research results,the functional modules and database of the material storage and distribution system are designed in detail,and the main functional modules of the prototype system are developed and implemented.
