Non-lethal kinetic weapon is a vital category of non-lethal weapons.With the development of modern warfare,non-lethal kinetic weapons are playing an increasingly important role.Turbulent crowds and rioters are the main targets of non-lethal kinetic weapons.However,during the use of the weapon,it was found that the weapon had insufficient power at a long distance and excessive damage at a short distance.In order to increase the strike power of non-lethal kinetic weapons as much as possible and reduce their lethality at the same time,their injury effects need to be studied.The injury mechanism of non-lethal kinetic energy weapons was studied.The principle of action of several injury factors was analyzed.Quantitative evaluation methods of human damage were studied,and formulas for quantifying human damage were established.The establishment of human injury assessment model was discussed.Aiming at the two kinds of non-lethal kinetic bullets to be studied,considering the influence of protection conditions on the injury effect,the scheme of biological injury test is analyzed,the test results are studied,and the biological injury results are reasonably described.According to the problems of traditional injury assessment parameters,the influence of protective conditions on the injury results was analyzed.The concept of the target's protective conditions for the energy absorption rate of the bullet is proposed.And based on this concept,the idea and method of using the effective kinetic energy E_e as the parameter for assessing the damage effect of the non-lethal kinetic bullet are proposed.An injury evaluation model was established between the effective kinetic energy and the improved quantitative model of human injury,and the analysis was performed.Based on the functional analysis and framework design of the evaluation software,MATLAB was used to develop the evaluation software for the non-lethal kinetic bullet damage evaluation.The rationality of the evaluation results is analyzed.
