An Experiment In Container Architecture From The Perspective Of Contemporary Art

The transformation of containers into buildings provides solutions to many problems of contemporary architecture.This paper tries to extract pioneer spirit and personality ideology from contemporary art,and then apply them to design experiments of container building.Based on the existing practice theory,explore the new field of container building form.In view of the rise of container building,the author discusses the experimental characteristics of container building through in some ways,such as,data collection,case analysis,field research,interdisciplinary integration and other research methods.And then contemporary art is taken as the breakthrough point to carry out container experimental research.This paper consists of two parts: Theory and Practice.The first four chapters explain the theory of container architecture.The first chapter describes the concept and construction method of the container,and summarizes the characteristics by analyzing various types of cases.Chapter two combs the evolution of container architecture based on Typology.From the perspective of contemporary art,the third chapter analyzes the artistic characteristics embodied in the concept and form.Chapter four explores the concept,form and construction of container.The fifth chapter takes the reconstruction of container building as the project and considers the experiment of container construction and the art contained in the whole as the subject.Finally,the experiment is carried out from two aspects: non-independent container building and independent container building.From the perspective of contemporary art,we hope to open up a new experimental exploration path,which will help to improve the theory of container architecture,and provide some valuable references for the methods of container transformation.
