Under the background of the dual strategies of new urbanization and rural revitalization,"rural community construction" has become an important way to optimize the regional and spatial structure, improve the efficiency of resource utilization, and avoid the hollowing out of rural population in China, promoting the transformation of rural areas from traditional settlements to modern communities. In fact, rural community construction is not only a narrow sense of living and easier way of life, but also means the evolution of social system, economic system and spatial system, and brings about the transition of social structure,man-land relationship and even "rurality".Therefore,a more profound spatial research framework is urgently needed to analyze and analyze the systematic upheaval of "rural communization".This thesis introduces the dialectical theory of "society-space" proposed by western Neo-Marxist urban scholars, takes "villages in the transition stage of community construction" as the research object, combines theoretical retrospection and case empirical analysis as the research method.Follow from the "classical theory of induction" to "theoretical framework to build",to "macro and microscopic theoretical framework based on the empirical analysis of the research path, set up the theory of both strengthen the soil and era characteristic of the evolvement mechanism of rural community space framework, analyses the macro and micro space of rural community evolution, and puts forward the corresponding optimization strategy. The main content of the thesis is divided into four parts. In the first part(chapter 2),on the basis of discussing the applicable value of socio-spatial dialectic theory for the study of rural communities, text analysis, bibliometrics and other methods are adopted to systematically summarize the origin, development, core connotation and research logic of this theory, and clarify the research framework and content of the spatial evolution mechanism of rural communities in China. In this chapter,"spatial evolution of rural communities" is understood as a process in which "spatial actors implement purposeful spatial behaviors(social space)under certain 'behavioral logic',thus forming spatial practices(physical space)".Social space and physical space correspond to the "mode of space production" in philosophy, sociology and human geography, and the "type of space use" in planning and physical geography, which together constitute the dual unity of spatial signified and signified in rural communities. The second part(chapter 3)combines the development of rural communities in Shandong Province,on the one hand, using the method of emotional discourse analysis, discusses the evolution process of rural communities in Shandong Province in terms of power system operation, capital multiplication and social and cultural cognition since its beginning, and summarizes the stage characteristics of its social space evolution. On the other hand, through the quantitative analysis of statistical data and remote sensing image data of typical periods, the evolution of spatial structure, spatial function and spatial form in the process of rural community construction in Shandong Province is seen. Thus,it represents the internal synergistic characteristics of material space and social space under the multiple functions of "spatial integration mechanism under core dominance","spatial replication mechanism under formal rationality" and "spatial expression mechanism under limited participation".The third part(chapter 4)select three in Shandong province in the phase of communitybased transformation of village as the typical case, through participatory rural appraisal method,on the one hand, the community building in the construction process of power system space, space and social cognitive space capital proliferation,a comparative study on the other hand, combing case rural communities the evolution of spatial structure, function and form,Furthermore, the interactive relationship and mechanism between social space and material space in its transformation process are discussed.Research shows that different driving ways of community lead to different forms of social space, and the difference of social space is reflected in the physical space of rural communities. The fourth part(chapter 5)based on the previous research on the spatial evolution mechanism of rural communities at macro and micro scales,is guided by the "overall human development" pursued by the socio-spatial dialectical theory, and reflects on the problems existing in the current spatial evolution process of rural communities. The thesis argues that it is necessary to optimize the spatial evolution of rural communities from the aspects of establishing smooth power operation mechanism, shaping standardized capital multiplication mode, forming continuous and daily social cognitive space and so on.In terms of theoretical exploration, this thesis innovatively introduces the socio-spatial dialectic theory, improves the shortcomings of traditional rural studies, such as attaching importance to material space while ignoring social space, attaching importance to spatial behavior while ignoring social relations, and constructs a systematic research framework on spatial evolution mechanism of rural communities, and puts forward feasible research paths. In terms of empirical research, this thesis innovatively applies emotional discourse analysis, participatory rural evaluation and other research methods, which not only explains the common characteristics of socio-spatial evolution in the process of "rural community" in Shandong Province, but also demonstrates the different types of evolution mechanisms of different rural communities. The research results of this thesis are of great value to promote the development and deepening of socio-spatial dialectic theory and to analyze the process and trend of spatial evolution of rural communities in China.
