Family business is one of the most common forms of business.Under the background of China's strong "family culture" tradition,"sub-fathering his father's family" is still an important way for family business to inherit from generation to generation. In this study,a quantitative and qualitative mixed research design was used to explore the relationship between children's succession of family-owned enterprises and family interpersonal and entrepreneurial tacit knowledge.Study 1 explores the factors that affect the children's willingness of family business and their mechanisms. The study used an in-depth interview method, selected respondents to participate in the study through intensity sampling, and collected data on the premise of the informed consent of the respondents.Through the transcription, collation and preliminary analysis of interview data,108 primary codings were obtained.Spindle coding(secondary coding)and core coding(three coding)are performed using generic analysis.A total of 22 significance units have been established for the two-level coding, and the three-level coding has focused on four core codings. On the basis of generic analysis, combined with scenario analysis methods, the theory is built from the bottom up.After the validity test and ethical review of the research results, the following results were finally obtained:(1)The succession of children of family businesses is willing to be affected by the effect of entrepreneur tacit knowledge transfer. The intergenerational transfer of entrepreneur tacit knowledge continues to occur at all stages of the growth of the family's children(childhood and adolescence, vocational education, and first employment).(2)Family relations affect the way and effect of entrepreneur tacit knowledge transfer, and then affect the children's succession of family business.Family relations not only affect the succession of children's succession at the time of triggering the incident.but also affect their identity after joining the family business.(3)Following the children's willingness to change their family's succession before they complete their succession, the triggering event is an important factor that causes the children of the family business to make any changes.Study 2 examines, tests, and supplements the conclusions of Study 1(In-depth interviews)from a small sample in a quantitative study. In order to facilitate measurement and improve the reliability of variable assessment, family intimacy was selected as a measure of family relationships, and the effect of an entrepreneur's tacit knowledge transfer was used as a measure of entrepreneur tacit knowledge.Using the"Family Intimacy Scale","Energy Evaluation of Entrepreneurs' Tacit Knowledge Transfer Questionnaire" and "Following the Arbitrary Willingness Scale" as research tools,315 questionnaires were distributed to the second generation of family businesses that met the research conditions, and valid questionnaires were retrieved.244 Copies. From this,we can understand the family members' intimacy of family business family, family intimacy of family business children's family, the general situation of entrepreneur tacit knowledge transfer between generations, examine the relationship between the three factors, and focus on the family intimacy and entrepreneurs tacit knowledge generation. The effect of inter-transfer effects on the predictability of arbitrary wishes, and verified the mediating effect of interpersonal transference of entrepreneur tacit knowledge between family intimacy and children's following arbitrary wishes. The results of Study Two are as follows:(1)The succession of children of family-owned enterprises is significantly different in the "net profit of enterprise" dimension;there is no significant difference in"gender","education",and "exclusiveness".(2)There is a significant positive correlation between family intimacy and arbitrary wishes;there is a significant positive correlation between family intimacy and the effect of entrepreneurial tacit intergenerational transfer and its four dimensions;following the intergenerational transfer of discretionary and entrepreneurial tacit knowledge There is also a significant positi ve correlation between the effect and its four dimensions.(3)The effect of intergenerational transference of family intimacy and entrepreneur tacit knowledge has a significant positive predictive effect on the willingness of the second generation of family firms.(4)The effect of interpersonal transference of entrepreneur tacit knowledge on the interpersonal intimacy of children of family-owned enterprises and following arbitrary wishes is significant.A comprehensive discussion was then conducted on the results of Study 1 and Study 2.This study eventually reached the following conclusions:Successive wishes of family business children are the result of many factors such as family relations, entrepreneurs' tacit knowledge transfer and triggered events.Among them, the entrepreneurial tacit knowledge intergenerational transfer has a direct effect on the family members' children's willingness to follow arbitrary wishes;the influence of family relations on following arbitrary wishes is partially achieved through the mediating effect of the entrepreneur's tacit knowledge transfer;the occurrence of triggering events forces the second generation.Make choices, but the choice is more dependent on the long-term effects of family relationships and tacit knowledge transfer across generations.Enhancing family intimacy and entrepreneurial tacit knowledge transfer between generations is an effective way to increase the willingness of family business children to follow suit.
