Research On Marcuse's Critical Thought Of Technological Rationality

Herbert Marcuse absorbed ancient Greek rationalism,critically absorbed Hegel's dialectical rationality,inspired by modern western philosophical thought,followed the path of Western Marxist criticism of technical rationality,and based on Marx's alienation Constructed a critical thought of technical rationality for developed industrial society.Marcuse's critique of technical rationality aims to expose the phenomenon of comprehensive alienation in the developed capitalist industrial society.Mankind has overrelied on technology,and science and technology have developed into technological rationality,which has become a new rule and has fully controlled society.The developed industrial society has become a one-dimensional society with no opposition.People living in rich societies also lose the negative dimension and become one-dimensional people.This article aims to put forward some reference suggestions for China's modernization process from the analysis and reflection of Marcuse's critique of technical rationality.
