Research On The Rock Paintings Of Wushan Mountain In Longli, Guizhou

The visual patterns presented by the petroglyph in Wushan,Longli,Guizhou not only are common and universal in international petroglyph,but also reveal strong ethnic and regional characteristics,which are of great significance to study Guizhou ancient art history,cultural history,ideological history and ethnic religion history.The author have systematically investigated petroglyph in Wushan,Longli,Guizhou from an anthropological perspective,discussed its status and attribution from international petroglyph.The spatial field of Wushan petroglyph based on the natural environment and early human interaction with mountains,rocks,water and other objects have also be discussed and concluded systematically in the genre and style of petroglyph in Wushan,Longli,Guizhou,which starting from the animal symbols and painting styles,silhouettes of characters and abstract codes of perception.In this paper,the production method of Wushan petroglyph,the era to which belongs and the regional and ethnic characteristics of the images have been analyzed to deduce that the painters of Wushan petroglyph in Longli,Guizhou originated from the Pu and Yue ethnic groups as the same as Cangyuan petroglyph in Yunnan,Huashan petroglyph in Guangxi.Herein,the author discussed the similarities and differences in terms of style and image content between Wushan petroglyph and other petroglyphs in China,especially in Guizhou.The regional characteristics and cultural connotation of Wushan petroglyph were deeply explored as well.The petroglyph in Wushan,longli,Guizhou accumulates people's behavioral patterns,thinking model and psychological characteristics in inheritable modality,which be presented in a visible form and revealed vast pastoral culture,witchcraft culture,fertility worship,primitive religion and other cultures.It is of great significance to discover and study the ethnic spirit and cultural of the indigenous people of Guizhou.
