Zhangwu Upheaval And Zhuge Liang's Political Situation

At present,there are many in-depth researches on the political activities of Zhuge Liang in the academic circles,mainly focusing on the period of governing the Shu Dynasty when he was entrusted an orphan in the White Emperor City.However,it's a gradual process for the state power of Shu Dynasty under the control of Zhuge Liang,including the structural change of different political people and groups.The reason why it produces this change is that the Zhuge Liang's status change in the Liu Bei's species politically.Up to now,there are few in-depth researches on the shift of Zhuge Liang's political status and the process of centralization of power.Based on this,this thesis mainly is discussed around the above two questions.It can be comprised of three chapters.Chapter One mainly discusses some relevant historical events of Liu Bei appointing his prime minister Zhuge Liang and his chief of secretariat Li Yan as assisting ministers and figures that the appointment of Li Yan holds considerable political significance,which lies in the restrictions on prime minister Zhuge Liang's political rights in order to maintain the stable transition of imperial power.Later,Zhuge Liang employed some political means to control the regime of Shu Dynasty,and the power of prime minister is dominant and has not gone beyond the imperial power.Therefore,the political situation of Shu Dynasty has completely deviated from the Liu Bei's arrangement of the whole nation in the White Emperor City.Chapter Two adopts the flashback method and analyzes the political status of Zhuge Liang before Liu Bei's death.Zhuge Liang was appointed as prime minister at the highest authority.But he did not hold administrative power correspondingly.Meanwhile,the supreme administrative authority of Shu Dynasty,named the department of state affairs,is governed by Liu Ba who is the legal heir.Although Zhuge Liang is called prime minister,he was not included the core layer of Liu Bei's political decisions and made efforts to build his relational network involving in civil and military.Chapter Three explores the fate changing of Du Wei and Li Yan politically and discusses Zhuge Liang's political strategies in the face of the reconstruction of regime of Shu Dynasty after Liu Shan took office and his political arrangement of the other assisting minister Li Yan,which consolidates his political status and are beneficial to govern Shu Dynasty stably.In the discussion of historical facts above,it can be drawn the relevant conclusion:the Zhuge Liang's political status is not dominant before Liu Bei's death.But he holds broad politics and personnel resource.The reason why Liu Bei appointed Li Yan as assisting minister is that it can be regarded as a way of restricting the Zhuge Liang's rights,which based on the death of civil and military officials of Shu Dynasty.Hereafter,Zhuge Liang gradually controls the Shu's regime by using his authority power and personnel transfer.And the political situation of Shu Dynasty occurs to fundamental change.
