Literary Research Of Tang Dynasty Sentences

The article of court verdict is a marginal style in ancient Chinese style,and has not received enough attention from academic circles for a long time.In fact,the article of court verdict is the product of the organic fusion of various cultural factors under the specific social and cultural mechanism,which flourished in the Tang Dynasty,and occupies an important position in the imperial examination of the Tang Dynasty and derives a strong literariness.This thesis aims at exploring the literary nature of the article of court verdict in the Tang Dynasty,systematically explores it in terms of stylistics,literature and jurisprudence,and probes into the stylistic origin,institutional characteristics,literary origin and literary significance of it.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the thesis is divided into five parts,as follows:The first chapter firstly combs the origin of the article of court verdict,takes the prosperous period of the Tang Dynasty as the time node,analyzes the different characteristics of the pre-Tang Dynasty and the Tang Dynasty,thinks that the difference between them is mainly reflected in the stylistic style.According to the study of the article of court verdict in the Tang Dynasty by stages,it is concluded that the development of it has gone through three stages,among which the style of it in the early prosperous Tang Dynasty tends to be consistent,the prose in the middle Tang Dynasty tends to be scattered,and the late Tang Dynasty has the phenomenon of reappearing the style of the essay in the Six Dynasties.Secondly,inducing the documents which including the article of court verdict in the Tang Dynasty,focusing the documents which are not be focused by others.Finally,according to the stylistic function of the article of court verdict,classifying it and analyzing its stylistic features.The second chapter mainly discusses the literary causes of the article of court verdict in the Tang Dynasty,and thinks that the literaryization of the article of court verdict is deeply influenced by the inheritance and evolution of the style itself,the imperial examination system,the activities of the censors and the social fashion,among which the promotion of the imperial examination system is the direct factor.The third chapter focuses on the universality of literary characteristics of the article of court verdict in Tang Dynasty,and holds that the literary nature of it is embodied in three aspects:artistic skill,story plot and strong emotion.Its use of literary techniques was characterized by the diversity of sentence,rhetoric and imagination.In the development of the story plot,it embodies the characteristics of fictitious,narrative and tortuosity.In the subjective emotion confiding,the article of court verdict intentionally exaggerates,manifests the humanities concern,and the emotion is abundant,the expression is sufficient.The fourth chapter focuses on the particularity of characteristics of the article of court verdict in the Tang Dynasty,and selects the two most representative works of the Tang Dynasty named Judges of longjinfengsui and Hundreds of Verdicts,as the model works to carry out a case study to explore the style of the two works which are different from others.This chapter is divided into two parts.The first part analyzes the literary characteristics of the Judges of longjinfengsui in depth,thinking the literariness of it is manifested in four aspects:exquisite system,exquisite rhetoric,Fu as the text and strong feelings.The second part makes a detailed investigation on the literary value of the Hundreds of verdicts,thinking that the literariness of it is mainly embodied in four aspects:writing with parallel prose and prose,rhythmic symmetry,proper use of the allusion and profound thoughts,thinking the sentence symmetry and the use of the allusion have adopted a variety of forms and methods,profound thoughts are reflected in the two aspects of creating with emotion and informal rhythm.Chapter five focuses on the influence of the article of court verdict in Tang Dynasty on the later literature,which is divided into two parts.The first part combs the differentiation of the article of court verdict in Tang Dynasty,and thinks that the dynamic development of the article of court verdict later Tang Dynasty presents two trends:one is to develop into literary or pure literary style.The second part discusses the relationship between the narrative style of the article of court verdict,thinking the article of court verdict is an indispensable part of the public case novel,which plays an important role in organizing the story plot and promoting the structural setting of the public case novel,arousing the reverse creative thinking of the public case novel,implying the fate of the characters or the development of the plot.
