"Huang Yongnian Yincun" Research

Huang yongnian is a famous expert in history and ancient literature in China,and has made great achievements in the field of ancient book edition.At the same time,he also studied calligraphy and seal cutting deeply.This paper focuses on the study of huang yongnian's seal cutting works as the main line to analyze the artistic style of huang yongnian's carving and the embodiment of huang yongnian's carving "pursuit beyond the carving art",in order to illustrate the practical significance of his seal cutting art.Firstly,the basic overview of huang yongnian's seal cutting works is mainly based on the published information and main contents,and the number and size of seals contained in the seal cutting works are analyzed.The distribution of zhu wen and bai wen and the main use of the seal.The use of the book included in the "preface" "art of seal cutting" textual materials,in-depth exploration of huang yongnian on the enlightenment of carving,the teacher,when to commit to carving art,with the then famous carvers of the exchange and so on to be textual research and extract excellent carving thought.Secondly,the methods of pie chart,table and image comparison are used to deeply analyze the carving works,and reveal the style source of the printing style,so as to intuitively and systematically show the artistic style of huang yongnian seal.The main objects of selection are ancient seal carving in the warring states period,carving in the han dynasty and carving in the Ming and qing dynasties.The Ming and qing schools include wu xizai,zhao zhiqian,huang mufu,wang fuan and other techniques,with huang mufu's style as the inheritance and reference.Thirdly,from the aspects of huang yongnian's calligraphy,calligraphy theory,literature history,ancient literature research,research spirit and character cultivation,etc.The seal script is graceful,the regular script is vigorous and the running script is more"bookish",which is a typical calligraphy style of literati.All of these have a direct impact on the artistic style of seal cutting whether it is from the aesthetic style or the technique expression.With his comprehensive knowledge and personality,huang yongnian became a sculptor in calligraphy,seal cutting,scholarship and spirit,achieving a mellow and quiet artistic expression and a broad realm of life.Finally,it summarizes the contribution and influence of huang yongnian seal cutting to the development of carving art in guanzhong region of shaanxi province.The guiding role of the sculpture "standard" of "carving art itself' on the study of individual carving art and the enlightenment of "pursuit beyond carving art" on the practice of contemporary carving art.
