An Analysis Of The Creation And Performance Techniques Of The Bamboo Flute Concerto "Sorrowful Empty Mountain"

The bamboo flute concerto "anxious empty mountain" is the first large-scale folk music work created by the composer guo wenjing in 1992.The name of the work comes from the poem in the tang dynasty poet li bai's "difficult road of shu":And hear the song of zigui night moon,worry about the empty mountain.Since its debut,the music has been warmly received in China's bamboo flute music circle.It has been performed by bamboo flute players at home and abroad for many times and has become a classic in their performance career.This paper is divided into four chapters,mainly from the creation background,form structure and creation techniques,performance techniques analysis of three aspects of the bamboo flute concerto "sorrow empty mountain" analysis.In the first chapter,the author firstly points out the reason and significance of the topic,then summarizes and analyzes some research results of the bamboo flute concerto "the anxious empty mountain" and the improved flute,and then points out the research objectives,contents and research methods of this paper.Finally,the characteristics and innovations of this paper are shown.In the second chapter,the author summarizes the bamboo flute concerto "anxious empty mountain" from the perspective of the background of the composition.At first,the basic situation and achievements of the composer are briefly introduced,and then the characteristics and changes of timbre in the works are briefly analyzed.As one of the most representative musical works in guo wenjing's"mountain"series,the work continues the composer's natural,simple and tough creation style,and integrates his strong feelings for the land of bashu into his musical works.The third chapter is mainly on the bamboo flute concerto "sorrow empty mountain" form structure and composition techniques analysis.The form structure part mainly includes the form structure schematic diagram and the detailed text discussion.The composition technique part mainly discusses the use of the twelve-tone system,the transformation of tonality and the inheritance of Chinese folk music elements.From the perspective of musical structure and creation techniques,the work perfectly integrates Chinese traditional musical elements with the western traditional concerto genre,Chinese traditional folk instruments and western orchestra,so as to make the work have a very modern musical style and not lose Chinese flavor.While inheriting the traditional Chinese folk music,it also opened up a new way for the creation of traditional Chinese folk music and filled the gap in the field of bamboo flute concerto.In the fourth chapter,the author mainly analyzes the bamboo flute concerto "sorrow empty mountain" from the aspects of playing techniques.In this paper,examples and analysis are made on the performance techniques such as the change of breath intensity,cyclic ventilation,rapid double spit,slide,trill and so on.The work USES western composition techniques to break the traditional performance techniques,so that the traditional performance techniques no longer represent a certain music style,and reintegrates and distributes them as independent musical elements throughout the work.and greatly expands and enricces the application of performance techniques and music form.Due to the overlapping use of performance techniques in the works,the traditional six-hole flute performance is greatly difficult,so most of the performers use the improved eight-hole flute,key flute and other newly shaped bamboo flute to perform.The author compares the traditional six-hole flute,the improved eight-hole flute and the improved ten-hole flute,and discusses and analyzes their advantages and limitations in the actual performance,which leads to new thoughts on the improvement of bamboo flute concerto "anxious empty mountain".
