The main purpose of this study was to explore the mediating effect of parenting pressure on parenting efficacy and children's problem behaviors of special children,and to reduce the problem behaviors of special children by designing themed group counseling.In this study,parents of special children from primary school to junior high school in some areas of Guangdong Province were tested by adopting Self-Efficacy Questionnaire for parents of special children prepared by Jiang Qindi,Behavior Questionnaire for children prepared by Conner and simple Chinese Parental Pressure Questionnaire revised by Jie Luo.A total of 2057 questionnaires were sent out,among which 750 parents of children with autism and mental retardation in compulsory education were selected as research samples.The second study is intervention research.On the basis of the first study,this study explores the intervention of thematic group counseling on parenting pressure of special children,so as to reduce children's problem behaviors.The results of study show that :(1)The level of parental efficacy of special children is in the upper middle l,the level of parenting pressure is in the upper middle,and the children's problem behaviors are in the lower middle;(2)There was a significant negative correlation between parenting efficacy and children's problem behaviors and parenting pressure,while there was a significant positive correlation between parenting pressure and children's problem behaviors;(3)Parenting pressure of special children has a complete mediating effect between parenting efficacy and problematic behaviors;(3)the scores of parenting stress of special children were increased and the scores of problem behaviors were decreased after the intervention.
