"Shan You Talent" Guo Xiangsheng Literary Theory Research

Guo Xiangsheng was a famous scholar,educator and bibliographer in shanxi in the early years of the republic of China.This paper intends to study the literary theory of Guo Xiangsheng from four aspects: his time,style view,writer's accomplishment view and literary history view.We should dig into the shining point of Guo Xiangsheng's literary theory and discuss the rich aspects of his literary theory in a more comprehensive way.The thesis consists of introduction,Guo Xiangsheng's literary theory and conclusion.The introduction introduces the research status,basic contents,research ideas,methods and research significance of this topic.The first chapter introduces Guo Xiangsheng and his life,mainly introduces Guo Xiangsheng's life and writing,the origin of Guo Xiangsheng and Tongcheng School,and the context of Guo Xiangsheng's literary theory.The second chapter discusses Guo Xiangsheng's theory of writer's cultivation,from the writer's style and the law of the two aspects of the internal and external discussion,finally concluded that there is a correspondence between the writer's style and the Yin Yang Hardness Softness,the writer's style from the record of ancient times and review of the world.The third chapter studies the stylistic thought of Guo Xiangsheng,mainly from the two aspects of genre and style,the stylistic aspect mainly analyzes Guo's stylistic thought of novel,preface and gift preface,and stylistic aspect analyzes the thought of the unity of literature and language advocated by Guo Xiangsheng.The fourth chapter studies Guo Xiangsheng's view of literary history.Guo Xiangsheng classifies the articles of the past dynasties into the nine schools and puts forward the judgment that " The articles vary from time to time ".The conclusion part summarizes the theoretical value of Guo Xiangsheng's stylistic thoughts,analyzes the new and conservative factors in his literary theory,and makes an objective judgment on the gains and losses of his literary theory.
