Research On Taoist Ritual Dance In Xishan Wanshou Palace

As the ancestral hall of Jingming school,Xishan Longevity Palace is an important part of Chinese traditional culture.The Taoist ritual dance of Xishan Wanshou Palace is developed from the primitive witch dance and sacrificial dance,and has absorbed and integrated the theories and practices of witch dance culture and other sects,and gradually formed a unique Taoist ritual dance of Xishan Wanshou Palace,which has an important historical position in the long river of dance art.Taoist ritual dance of Longevity Palace in Xishan is a kind of sacrificial activity with the main purpose of praying for blessings and dying.It embodies the basic beliefs and life features of Taoist believers by using the body vocabulary of dancers.It is an external manifestation of the ideological visualization and dynamic of Taoist believers.On the basis of the research of Taoist ritual dance in Xishan Longevity Palace,this paper uses the professional knowledge of interdisciplinary disciplines such as dance,dance ecology,folklore,and religion to explore the four aspects of the historical traceability,artistic characteristics,case study and functional interpretation of Taoist ritual dance in Xishan Longevity Palace.At the same time,through on-the-spot investigation and interview,it completely records the actual situation and functions of ritual dance Data collection,analysis and discussion of the dance form and the symbolic meaning behind the Taoist ritual of the Longevity Palace in Xishan,in order to explore the cultural connotation and artistic characteristics of the interpretation in the Taoist ritual dance of the Longevity Palace in Xishan,and make valuable research for the development and inheritance of Jiangxi Taoist dance culture.
