This article investigates and analyzes the use of video in the teaching of "China Panorama" for undergraduates of International Economics and Trade Class I,II and III of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics,and advanced classes for language students.Students 'questionnaire surveys and teacher interviews are used to understand students' application of video in the attitude of "China Panorama" class and further understand the learning needs of students;and with the help of video resources,carry out the teaching design of the "Chinese Porcelain" section in Chapter5,"China's Contribution to World Science and Technology" in "China Panorama ".The advanced class of language students carries out teaching practice.Then,the author evaluates this teaching activity by way of students' after-class interviews.Finally,they conduct teaching reflection and put forward video teaching suggestions in the "China Panorama" class.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the background and significance of topic selection,literature review,research ideas and methods,and research innovations.The second chapter is the theoretical basis for the application of video resources in China.It mainly includes the definition,type,characteristics and theoretical basis of video resources.The third chapter is the investigation and analysis of the application of video resources in the "China Panorama" class.Through the questionnaire survey of students,interviews with teachers,and teaching observations,the author further understands the needs of students and the current teaching situation and problems of China.The fourth chapter uses the video resources to carry out the teaching design of "China Panorama".The author chose Guo Peng and others as a textbook of "China Panorama",chose the "Chinese Porcelain" section in Chapter 5,"China's Contribution to World Science and Technology," for teaching design,and put the design into practice.Combining students' after-class interviews for teaching evaluation and reflection.The fifth chapter is mainly the teaching suggestions on the application of video resources in "China Panorama".Based on the previous teaching design and practice,the author puts forward several teaching suggestions.The conclusion part summarizes the main points of this paper and the lack of research.
