A Study Of Dreams In Jane Eyre

Jane Eyre is the work of the famous British novelist Charlotte Bronte,which has been received warm response from all walks of life since it published.The paper is based on the theory of narratology,combined with theories of Freud’s psychoanalysis and theories of Jung’s analytical psychology,adopts the method of text analysis to analyze the dream of Jane in Jane Eyre,from analyzing the form and content of dreams to researching the meaning of dreams.First,summarize the development of dreams’ history in psychology,literary creation and the role of dreams in literary works;secondly,this paper expounds dreams in the novel as a means of literary creatio and narrative function in the work about impact on time and space in the novel;finally,by studying the narrative and content of dreams,it demonstrates unique real beauty,gothic beauty and ideal beauty.Research of the dream has replaced the blank in the academic circles for the dream research of Jane Eyre,and also provides scholars with different perspectives for understanding the novel,...
