The Introduction Of The Concept Of "new Morality" In Modern China And Its Influence On Education

The concept of “New sex morality” was introduced into China through the introduction of translated works and the dissemination of newspapers and periodicals,which was of great significance to the moral transformation in modern China,the introduction of “New sexual morality” into China is also an important form of education and communication between China and foreign countries.This study breaks the traditional static research mode of Comparative education and explores the introduction and influence of “New sexual morality” in China,which is of great academic value and practical significance.The introduction of “New sexual morality” in China means the change of the key proposition of “Human Liberation”in modern times,which leads to the “Chastity Revolution”which subverts the traditional Chinese sexual morality.From the perspective of education,the introduction and spread of “New sexual morality” in China is the process of the influence on the Chinese people.Under the special educational space constructed by the introduction of the concept of “New sexual morality” into modern China,experiencing the intense conflict and fusion of the new and old moral concepts,the influence of the concept of“New sexual morality” on the individual and the public's concept of chastity,free love and so on.In this study,by using the methods of literature research,historical research,comparative research and case study,the historical materials of modern newspaper,periodical literature and academic anthology,trying to present the special context in which the “New sexual morality”was introduced into China in modern China,the special educational space constructed by the introduction and dissemination of the intellectual elite,and taking two female suicides as typical cases,through the awareness,attitudes and actions of the general public and the media regarding the suicide incident,which are carried by individuals,families,schools,as well as newspapers and periodicals,reflection and analysis on the influence of enlightenment after the introduction of “New sexual morality” into China.The main ideas of this study are as follows: the first part focuses on the introduction of the“New sexual morality” concept to China's social background and ideological basis are outlined.The modern society was in the critical period of social transformation,the social situation of saving the nation from extinction and the development of mass media newspapers and periodicals laid the historical foundation for the introduction of the modern concept of “New sexual morality”,western feminist theory and Marxism's theory of Women's liberation provide the ideological source for the introduction of foreign sexual morality in China.The second part of the “May 4th” around the western concept of “Sexual morality”into China's path and the beginning and end of the comb,through the systematic introduction and promotion by many elites of knowledge of the concepts of “New sexual morality”,such as Akiko Yoshino's chastity theory in Japan,Arenka's theory of love morality in Sweden,and Russell's sexual morality in Britain,gradually built a “New moral”concept of a specific education space,and through newspapers,periodicals and other mass media to the social impact of education.The third part selects the common female educatees in the special education space as the case,through to two typical female suicide cases analysis,showing the awareness and acceptance of the concept of“New sexual morality” by the public and the mass media,such as newspapers and periodicals,as well as individual women,men and families involved in the event,to reflect on and review the influence of Enlightenment after the introduction of the concept of “New sexual morality” into China.The fourth part summarizes and analyzes the influence of the introduction of the concept of “New sexual morality” in modern China,it also provides enlightenment for the construction of social morality and the education of sexual morality in contemporary China.
