Relevant studies about the "Multi category words" so far have shown that there are also some phenomena in both Chinese and Uighur, such as the combination of static words with static words, between static words and function words,or between function words and function words. The so-called facultative phenomenon of words refers to the phenomenon that a word appearing in different linguistic environments has the main grammatical functions of two or more parts of speech under the condition of the same appearance, the same sound and the related meaning. We can call this type of words "Multi category words".Uighur takes morphological change as its main grammatical means, while Chinese,on the contrary, takes word order and function words as its main grammatical means, with little use of morphological means.Although Chinese and Uighur are two languages with different means of grammatical expression, they both have the same phenomenon of word collation.Since both languages have the phenomenon of word subcategory, they must have something in common. In the study of Chinese grammar, there are many achievements in both theoretical research and research methods. However,in the study of Uighur grammar, there are only a few research results on the side-category phenomenon of words.Judging from the previous research contents, the theoretical framework used in the study is basically similar, and further exploration is needed.Although there are some similarities between Chinese words and Uighur words, there are many differences in general, and it is difficult to make a comparison. Therefore, this paper attempts to take the study of modern Chinese category words as a reference, mainly to explore the phenomenon of multi-category words in modern Uighur language, and combined with practical examples in dictionaries and some literary works,to sum up the respective characteristics of Uighur and Chinese category words and the similarities and differences between the two.The study from this new research Angle will improve the theory of Uighur concurrent words research. This paper consists of the following three parts including five chapters. The first part is the introductionpart which includes the first chapter of this paper. This chapter includes the purpose and significance of this paper, the use of research theory and method. Moreover, the literature research method, statistical method and classification method used to conduct statistical and classified analysis on the research results related to Uighur and Chinese side-category words so farand summarize the research content, research progress, similarities and differences in viewpoints, existing problems and other contents. Finally, the source of the corpus, the transcription symbols and abbreviations used in this paper are provided. The second part is the body part which includes the second, third and fourth chapters. These are not only the main parts of this article but also the most important part. The second chapterbased on the previous research theories, puts forward the definition, criteria, causes of the formation of the concurrent words and the differences between the concurrent words and the homomorphic words and parts of speech. The third chapter is a notional and class,in this chapter, combining with all kinds of dictionary and corpus collected by the literary works, the change in word form, grammatical meaning and grammatical function as the criterion, nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, numerals, quantifier of Uighur language and onomatopoeia word class and the phenomenon that Chinese nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, numeralsand this kind of phenomenon is analyzed and explained. The fourth chapter includes function words and subjunctive words. This chapter mainly discusses the subjunctive phenomenon of Uighur conjunctions and Chinese onomatopoeia words and prepositions. The third part is the conclusion part which is the fifth chapter and the summary of the whole paper.in this part, the author to the previous other chapters of the content to comb and summarize. This paper summarizes the characteristics, similarities and differences of the concurrent words in both Chinese and Uighur.
