Stanislaw Moniuszko(1819-1872)is a famous Polish composer,symphony orchestra conductor and educator in the 19 th century,known as the father of Polish National Opera.He created music with national characteristics.After more than 200 years,the national characteristics in his works are still shining.In this paper,Moniuszko's life,his time and his creation are taken as the starting point to study Moniuszko.The first part: To study the time and life of Moniuszko,comb the context of his life,and objectively record his life.The second part: the study of Moniuszko's works.First of all,it discusses the influence of national music on Moniusko;then it analyzes the characteristics of Moniusko's opera works,and summarizes the contribution of Moniusko to the development of Polish national opera;finally,it expounds other works of Moniusko with national style.The second part is the main idea of this paper.The third part: To summarize the influence of Moniuszko and his works,the Polish national spirit presented in his works,and the time value and historical value of Moniuszko and his works.
