A Comparative Study Of The Textbooks "Bastian Piano Course" And "Thompson's Easy Piano Course"

Piano teaching material is an important carrier in children's piano enlightenment teaching.This paper analyzes and compares the compiling concepts and characteristics of two sets of popular piano enlightenment teaching materials in China,which can provide a strong reference for children's piano enlightenment teaching in China.In this paper,the "Bastian Piano Course","Thompson simple piano course" as the key research object,and then through the analysis and comparison of data,draw a relative conclusion.This paper starts with the text research of the two sets of textbooks,and makes a systematic analysis and summary of the two sets of textbooks respectively.It is concluded that Thompson takes the cultivation of musical sense as its strength,and Bastian takes the theory as its basis and pays attention to the comprehensive cultivation of interest development.At the same time,combining with the compiling idea of the two sets of textbooks,the advantages of the two sets of textbooks are brought into play and some suggestions are put forward.
