Lu Dan'an's Folk Literature Creation And Criticism

Lu dan'an is an important popular literature writer in the 20 th century.On the one hand,it can deepen the understanding of Lu dan'an and show the common features of the important popular literature writers in the period of the Republic of China;on the other hand,it can also understand the general trend of popular literature creation at that time.The study of Lu dan'an's popular literature creation and criticism also helps to understand the relationship between popular literature and citizen's life,culture and literary thought,and further explore the cognition and reuse of traditional literature and culture by the newspaper people in the Republic of China,as well as the evolution and strengthening of popular literature concept and social function.Therefore,this paper will study Lu dan'an's literary creation and criticism from the following three parts:The first chapter is about Lu dan'an's friendship and literary creation.Lu dan'an's life involves a wide range of fields and contacts with a variety of people,so in the section of making friends,this paper will discuss Lu dan'an and popular literature writers,Tanci writers and artists,drama actors and popular literature scholars respectively.Lu dan'an's literary creation is also divided into three stages: literary accumulation period(1894-1914),novel and new drama creation period(1915-1932),popular literature creation and research period(1932-1949),writing and literary creation period(1949-1980),presenting Lu dan'an's creation and writing as completely as possible.The second chapter studies Lu dan'an's popular literature creation.This chapter discusses Lu dan'an's Tanci creation and the vernacular novels rewritten by Tang and Song Dynasties,Liaozhai and Yuanqu,discusses the creation of the opening and singing Tanci,and makes it clear that Tixiao Yinyuan Tanci is the first Tanci work with modern theme novels as the adaptation object,and the rewriting techniques,reasons and values of his rewriting works of popular literature.Furthermore,it clarifies the humanistic value of Lu dan'an's popular literary works,including the humanistic value of educating the public,the literary value of truth and the dissemination value of promoting popularization.The third chapter focuses on Lu dan'an's criticism and Research on popular literature.Among them,Lu dan'an's criticism of the novels such as the outlaws of the marsh and a dream of Red Mansions is comprehensive and meticulous.However,due to the cultural policy at that time and the criticism of Yu Pingbo and Hu Shi's literary thoughts by the cultural circles,Lu dan'an was also involved,and there are some disputes in his novel research? The words of novel and drama are the first works to interpret the words of novel and drama;In the selection of Tang and song legends,Liaozhai and Yuanqu anthologies,it also reflects the aesthetic taste and the spirit of the times,which is the reflection of the social trend and the aesthetic taste of the readers at that time.
