Musical Analysis And Stage Interpretation Of The Aria "Beside The Old City Walls Of Seville"

"Près Des Ramparts De Séville" is one of Carmen's three arias in "Carmen" written by Bizet.The theme of this opera is based on the love of small potatoes and the people of the lower class,depicting the reality of French society.The aria "Près Des Ramparts De Séville" is an important part of the opera "Carmen",but the domestic academic circles have not paid enough attention to it,and it has not been systematically studied.Taking "Près Des Ramparts De Séville" as the object,this paper comp rehensively discusses the musical characteristics and stage performance interpretation of the work by using the methods of literature research,music analysis,performance interpretation and self-singing experience.The content of the study includes creative techniques such as rhythm,melody and musical structure,and makes a comparative study on the performance skills of Agnes Barsa,Elena Garancha and Grace Banbury.Finally,combined with the personal singing performance practice,explaining the technical treatment and artistic expression of the singing of the works.It is expected to provide theoretical reference and practical guidance for the in-depth study of the creative techniques and stage performance of the work.
