Comparison Of Writing Techniques Between "Dragon Gate Four Pins" And "Gaochang Tomb Table" And Their Application In Creation

Since the Qing Dynasty,there has been a constant debate on the inscription,and many calligraphers have different opinions on the Wei stele.In the 1960 s,Mr.Sha Menghai proposed that the quality of the inscription is related to the engraver.Mr.huahuade thinks that the Northern Wei Dynasty statues are usually printed after the calligraphy,so the style of the Wei stele should be related to the calligraphy? Longmen Sipin,as a masterpiece of Wei stele,can represent the basic style of Wei stele.There are some unpublished ink marks in Gaochang tombstone,which are similar to the style of Wei tombstone.This paper analyzes the causes of the formation of the style and features of the Northern Wei Dynasty statues from the aspects of cultural background,material characteristics and engravers;Starting from the whole and strokes,through the comparative study of Longmen Sipin and Gaochang tombstone,this paper explores the relationship between stone carvings and ink in the Northern Wei Dynasty,and thus extends the inspiration to the creation.
