The Creation And Interpretation Of The Special Documentary "Hand In Hand"

East-western cooperation and the counterpart support are an important part of China’s ongoing fight against poverty,the feature documentary "Hand in Hand" takes Shanghai-Yunnan cooperation and assistance as the theme and clues,through reflecting the great changes this work has brought to the people in the poor areas and the deep friendship formed between the two places,presenting how the Party has fulfilled its solemn commitment made at the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Part y of China(CPC)that poor people and poor areas should join the whole country in entering a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way.The feature documentary "Hand in Hand" starts with the story of Shanghai Jinshan District helps Jingdong Yi Au tonomous County,Pu ’er City,Yunnan Province,which is a state-level poverty-stricken county,by recording the persistence and dedication of the cadres,teachers,doctors and the masses in their respective posts,with aid areas and poor people hand in hand to achieve a well-off,see big things through small ones,discovering "greatness" from their "ordinary" poverty alleviation work.This paper gives a detailed description of the whole process of research and creation and the ideas of the feature documenta ry "Hand in Hand",it shows the experience and exploration of the news documentary on poverty alleviation.This paper argues that feature documentaries should pay attention to news,and develops with the dislocation of the traditional news program,it will play a unique role in reflecting major news themes.This paper also reflects on the creators’ s deficiencies in the shooting techniques,directing thinking,editing and other aspects.it is urgent to draw lessons from the experience in the future creation.
