Creation And Elaboration Of The Documentary Feature Film “the Way To Spring”

Since the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the “Outline for Building a Strong Transportation Country” in 2019,it has been proposed to deepen the integration of transportation and tourism,and the integration of transportation and tourism has become a major trend in road construction.Transportation is the catalyst and important driving force for the development of the tourism industry,while tourism is an advanced direction for the transformation and upgrading of modern transportation.With the gradual increase in the proportion of self driving travel in tourism,tourism has become a new industrial growth point in the highway industry.Roads are no longer just channels for tourism,but also become a part of tourism content.The Da Xin to Pingxiang section of the Bama-Pingxiang Highway which through Long Zhou,also known as the “Daping Expressway”,is a cultural and tourism road that integrates transportation,tourism,and culture in response to the call for national transportation and tourism integration.Its goal is to create a green quality project and a national excellent project.However,the terrain and geomorphology of the section where Daping Expressway passes are complex,the tectonics is changeable,the whole line has many bridge and tunnel projects,many interchanges,many high slopes,high red lines for land use,and it is difficult to select ecological routes.Under such conditions,the difficulty of completing this green quality project and national excellent project can be imagined.The builders of the Daping Expressway are not afraid of difficulties,and try to avoid the land red line in design.In construction,they use four new technologies to break through the difficulties of bridges and tunnels.Ecological route selection preserves green waters and mountains,avoids natural reserves,and makes transportation and tourism more integrated.This fully demonstrates the wisdom,resilience,faith,and emotions of Chinese road workers.The theme of this film is to show the spirit of Chinese craftsmen striving for excellence and hard work,with the focus on documenting the construction of the Daping Expressway and the advanced deeds of Chinese highway construction workers.This article focuses on the creative process of the documentary theme“The Road to Spring”,including three major parts: preliminary planning,mid-term filming,and post editing.In the early planning stage,the author conducted relevant research on the positioning,key and difficult points of the Daping Expressway project,and advanced character stories;During the mid-term filming phase,I went to the project site and construction site for filming;The focus of post editing is on the classification and selection of visual materials,as well as adjusting the coordination of dubbing,music,and visuals.“The Road to Spring” is presented in the form of documentary materials and character interviews,telling the exciting stories of builders planning and constructing the Daping Expressway from three dimensions: road design,land acquisition and demolition,and construction.It records the difficulties in the construction of the Daping Expressway,the dreams and goals of the Daping Expressway builders,and pays tribute to Chinese road workers.
