The Aesthetic Feature Study On Documentary Film "West Of Tracks" Directed By Wang Bing

Since the birth of experimental films in the late 19 th century,films have been characterized by the function of recording and realism.This feature of recording and realism makes the study of film documentary style in the academic circle continue to this day.The end of the 20 th century,the "blind stream" culture group in Beijing,has given rise to by the people for the raw material of independent documentary film "Bumming In Beijing",then "new record movement" was put forward,in the mature stage,Wang Bing with "West Of The Tracks",in foreign countries,much attention has been paid to Wang Bing also therefore become international record movie master.The value of "West Of The Tracks" is not only to preserve precious image materials for historians and anthropologists.It is also the representative of China’s independent record of film development and China’s status and cultural strength on the international cultural stage.Studying the style and characteristics of "tie xi district" is conducive to better understanding Wang Bing’s creative ideas and techniques and promoting the development of China’s independent documentary films.After many years,I read the film again,and see the historical changes of tie xi from the perspective of records and records.Based on the case study of "West Of The Tracks" by Wang Bing,an independent documentary film director in China,this paper analyzes the audio-visual language,narrative mode,subject and artistic features of the film.Then,it determines the specific expression methods of real life and social reality in the works and the realistic aesthetic style of the works.In comparison with western classic film in the history of theory at the same time,Wang Bing record film reflected by the related characteristic,based on the research of the "West Of The Tracks",the analysis works in the audio-visual language,narrative,subject,artistic features,etc,reflects how aesthetic characteristics,further found it in the level of aesthetics of artistic features and aesthetic value.For reaching its goal,three methods are being used in this paper,they are the Literature research methods,Content analysis and Comparison analysis.Analysis of Wang Bing in the new turn of the century,digital technology development,DV,a baffling craze theory of western films in China under the background of how to shoot and presented his idea of the "West Of The Tracks",the idea of the "people",the concentration of an era."West Of The Tracks" is not only a precious historical image,but also a benchmark for recording Chinese movies.Domestic research literature on Wang Bing is relatively scarce compared with foreign literature.From the perspective of re-reading tie xi district,this paper analyzes the works and style characteristics from the perspective of aesthetics.For his creative experience and artistic techniques of the study,both make up for a lack of Wang Bing and his film in the academic research of regret,dug the artistic value of the film,also provide reference for practice of Chinese documentary film.
