A Study Of Widow Drama In Yuan Zaju

The widow group has been favored by many dramatists due to their own relatively bumpy emotional experience,and thus has become a special group often mentioned in Yuan Zaju.And with the continuous accumulation of the number of plays,a special type of drama,the widow drama of Yuan Zaju,has been formed.Among them,there are many masterpieces handed down from generation to generation.Dou E injustice,Wangjiang Pavilion,Mrs Chen teaches her son,Mrs.Liu celebrates the Wuhou banquet,etc.,are all widely spread.On the basis of reading through Zang Jin Shu’s Selected Songs of the Yuan Dynasty and Quan Yuan Opera edited by Wang Jisi,I have specifically classified and sorted out the 162 kinds of Yuan dramas that involve widow characters in the existing dramas.The historical stage,as well as the thoughts and emotions of the playwrights,conduct specific researches on the widow dramas in Yuan Zaju.Explore the features and artistic value of his repertoire,while discussing and discovering its inspiring effect for future playwrights.This article will mainly study from the following four chapters.In the first chapter,"The Research Method and Path of Yuan Zaju Widow Drama",in this chapter,classify the widow’s age level and identity to show different expression effects.The second chapter "The Features of the Drama in the Widow Drama of Yuan Zaju",mainly discusses the phenomenon of "widow remarrying" and "widow keeping festival" from the tragic color and character image.The third chapter,"The Creative Features of Yuan Zaju Widow Drama",mainly discusses the inspiration of widow drama to creators.It is not only easy to produce drama conflicts,but also able to concentrate on the characters in the drama and enrich the character characteristics.The forth chapter,"The Artistic Value and Evolution of Widow Drama in Yuan Zaju",this chapter elaborates on the sorrow and joy art and dogmatic ethics of widow drama,and at the same time explores its evolution and its reasons.Through the gradual research of the four chapters,the purpose of comprehending the creative method of the master of drama in the Yuan Dynasty,the charm of the widow drama in the Yuan Zaju,and the social mood of the Yuan Dynasty can be realized.
