Research On The Overall Design Of Regional Public Art

The regionality and public participation of public art is an important component of the diversity of urban public space.As an important node of urban public space,region is composed of multiple urban elements.Public art in the region should have the concept and method of holistic design,which can play a positive role in optimizing the urban landscape environment,expressing the city spirit,and improving the quality of life.From the regional positioning and spatial analysis,theme narrative and image creation to the extraction of elements and form construction,the design strategy of overall serialization brings the creation process of public art into the construction of regional environment.On the one hand,it strengthens the public characteristics of urban public space,on the other hand,it makes the city image with regional characteristics increasingly prominent.Based on the analysis of the current situation of the development of public art and related cases,this paper takes "Regionalization" and "integrity" as the main goal,and uses the experience and methods of interdisciplinary for reference to explore the design methods of contemporary public art with entity operation value and practical significance,which provides a useful reference for the practice of contemporary public art.
