Under the background of the COVID-19,the digital economy is developing rapidly,which brings new opportunities for the development digital marketing.The Chinese translation of books on digital marketing helps to inject new vitality into domestic marketing for its development.The English-Chinese translation material is selected from the business textbook,The Digital Marketing Landscape:Creating a Synergistic Consumer Experience(Chapters 3-4),which focuses on how to strategically use such digital technologies as blog,mobile and e-mail to create a synergistic consumer experience in digital marketing.Based on the features of the text,the report analyzes its key and difficult points from lexical,syntactic and textual aspects and summaries corresponding translation methods.There are a great number of proper nouns used in the text.How to translate them accurately is a major challenge.Zero translation combined with annotation,addition and amplification are applied to translate proper nouns.In addition,passive sentences are translated into Chinese active or passive sentences.Ellipsis,substitution and combination are used to deal with lexical repetition for cohesion.The report is expected to provide a reference for the translation of same type of texts.
