Osamu Dazai(1909.6.19—1948.6.13)is a representative writer of the Japanese rogue faction literature.Nowadays the popularity of his literary works continues unabated in Japan and around the world. In 1939,Osamu Dazai created "100 views of Mount Fuji" based on his real experience of staying at the Tennka tea house in Misaka mountain for 2 months. This work has changed the decadent and absurd artistic characteristics of Dazai's literature in the earlier period, showing the characteristics of healthy theme and bright tone.It is a model in the works of Dazai's middle period. At the same time,"100 views of Mount Fuji" is a novel that breaks the traditional causal relationship and linear time narrative law.The time clues inside the text are ambiguous, and the plots that make up the main body of the novel also show a clear sense of separation. It can be said that the use of "space" has been fully and artistically reflected in this work. The first chapter of this paper discusses the creation background of "100 views of Mount Fuji" from the social background and the writer's personal life experience, both internally and externally,so as to clarify the external information of the text of the research object, deepen the understanding of the text. The second chapter discusses the characteristics of space narrative in "100 views of Mount Fuyue".The first section sorts out and summarizes the development of spatial narratology in the West and our country in the form of a literature review. The second section discusses the "episode plot" that constitutes the main content of the novel and clarifies that the novel has narrative characteristics such as weak temporality and weak causality. In addition, the main locations and time clues that appear in the novel are classified and sorted out.The third chapter mainly combines the text of the novel to classify and sort out the physical space that appears in it.Through the analysis of the change of the representation of novel space, the role of physical space in novel narrative and narrative effect are expounded. The fourth chapter discusses the psychological space corresponding to the physical space in the text on the basis of the previous chapter. To clarify the abnormal characteristics of the psychological space with the development of the plot, and to perceive the decisive role of the psychological space in the novel and its narrative effect by analyzing the "regeneration" thought hidden in the psychological space. The fifth chapter discusses the social space appears in the text based on the discussion in the previous two chapters.By comparing the changes in social relations before and after "I" came to Tennka tea house,we can perceive the changes of social space in the novel. Finally, summarize the narrative effect of social space. This paper aims to analyze the text of the novel through three spatial perspectives, namely physical space, psychological space and social space,to explore the mechanism of spatial narrative in the text and to discuss the resulting narrative effect. It is expected that through the research of space and interpretation to discover the reason behind the work of "100 views of Mount Fuji" becoming a model of Dazai's literature in the middle period.
