In 1931,Japanese imperialism launched the Sept.18 Incident, which shocked China and abroad, and began a brutal 14-year rule in the northeast. At the same time, the Kuomintang adopted a policy of "bustling the outside world before the inside," concentrated its forces on the Communist Party, tightly controlled the domestic press and closed down newspapers founded by Communists. In this case, the CPC Central Committee decided to go abroad to run the newspaper. On December 9,1935,the overseas Chinese-language newspaper Giu Guo Sh Bao was officially founded in Paris,France, with the purpose of "uniting the people, regardless of party or creed, and working together to save the people."Born at a time of internal and external troubles, the newspaper was founded abroad, but it never forgot its mission. It devoted itself to covering the domestic Giu Guo Sh Bao,especially in the northeast, and made people understand how the anti-japanese forces in the northeast won the war against the enemy. These reports have had a great impact on the anti-japanese movement at home and abroad, and have made important contributions in helping the communist party dispel rumours, build its image and prestige, and promote the establishment of a united front against japan. In its more than two years of existence,The Giu Guo Sh Bao has consistently promoted the ideas of the Communist Party of China, inspired the morale of the whole people in their resistance to Japan, advocated adherence to the resistance to the end of the war and the restoration of mountains and rivers, inspired the people's patriotism and determination to resist Japan, and played an irreplaceable and important role in mobilizing public opinion in the war.
