Research On Tiledang In The Liao Dynasty

This paper mainly takes Liao dynasty tile?ends as the object of study,and composes and analyzes the archaeologically discovered and published tile materials typologically.On the basis of this,the staging work is attempted,and the staging and chronological sequence of Liao dynasty tile?ends is initially established.Finally,based on the study of Liao dynasty tile?ends,an attempt is made to analyze their cultural factors,as well as to study their development and influence on Jin dynasty tile?ends.The thesis consists of the following basic parts.Part ?,Introduction.It outlines the object of this paper,briefly describes the current state of research at home and abroad,as well as the shortcomings and difficulties in the research,lists the archaeological discoveries of tile?ends in eastern Inner Mongolia,northeastern China and northern China,and clarifies the research method and purpose of this paper.Part ?,we identify Liao dynasty tile pendants in Liao and Jin shared sites and conduct typological analysis of Liao dynasty tile pendants.Finally,the tile?ends are classified into six categories: animal-faced,dragon,floral,geometric,human-faced and special patterns,and the types of Liao dynasty tile?ends are clarified,and the regional characteristics,dimensions and material features of the tile?ends are briefly analyzed.Part ?,the staging of tile?ends.A specific analysis is made on the chronology of the tile?ends,and the general era of each type of tile is basically determined.Based on the era,the tile?ends are divided into two phases by combining the tile?ends' own styles.Part ?,based on the typological study and staging work,the cultural factors of the Liao Dynasty tile?ends are explored,and their development and influence on the Jin Dynasty tile?ends are discussed according to the characteristics of the Liao Dynasty tile?ends.Part ?,concluding remarks.
