Pop-up Book Interactive Design Research

With the rapid development of modern digital information technology,the arrival of multimedia and e-books has brought great competition and impact to the traditional flat paper books.In order to break through the dilemma,the traditional books should actively respond and reform,glow new vitality.Rich and diverse means of expression make the form of books colorful,pop-up book as a kind of interesting design means,become more and more popular in recent years.Compared with traditional 2-dimension books,pop-up books not only change the presentation of books,but also subtly interact with readers through a variety of visual elements and structural forms,bringing readers different reading experience and presenting unique artistic aesthetic value.An excellent and outstanding book with unique and ingenious interactive design can not only convey the wonderful content of the book,make full use of its functionality and artistry,but also can let readers get intersting and enyjoyable experience in the process of reading the book,and feel the joy of reading and the infinite charm of the book.This paper takes the interactive design of pop-up books as the research object,through the method of literature research and case analysis.First,the definition of pop-up book,the historical development of each stage,summed up the types and characteristics of pop-up books.Secondly,market research is carried out to analyze the differences between pop-up books and general 2-dimension books and different types of pop-up books.Then from the perspective of sight,touch,hearing,smell,taste and other aspects of the interactive way of pop-up book analysis,further study of pop-up book fun,experience and versatility of the interactive characteristics,explore the development trend of pop-up books interactive design.Finally,the interactive mode and characteristics of pop-up books are used to carry out the design practice of graduation creation pop-up books,providing new ideas and ideas for the design and development of contemporary original pop-up books.
