Investigation On The Current Situation Of Contemporary Official Script Creation And Analysis Of Its Causes

Since the 12th Chinese National Exhibition,the pursuit of formalism and lack of in-depth research on calligraphy has become a well-known problem.A lot of calligraphers and scholars have discussed this issue many times,and they advocate that people should pay attention to penetrate into the tradition of calligraphy and improving self-cultivation.Among the five genres of calligraphy type,the clerical script is particularly prominent in this problem,and the overall situation is not optimistic.From the perspective of two different systems of "college" and "calligraphy association",the author combs and analyzes the present situation of clerical script creation in national calligraphy exhibitions and college graduation exhibitions.The author thinks that the contemporary Chinese artistic form diversification,learning object,ink presentation and composition is very rich,but with the advent of the era of exhibition,works more and more focus on external form,nervous learning tradition,not thorough copying and following manuscripts and rubbings."follow the trend" is a serious tendency,while the phenomenon of the "impetuous",led to the contradiction between form and connotation of contemporary calligraphy.The author combed the existing studies of contemporary calligraphy of clerical script articles,analysis the reasons for the formation of the current situation of clerical script creation,and put forward the way and prospect of contemporary clerical script creation.I think that college students should adjust the mentality,penetrate into calligraphy traditional,improve the comprehensive quality,to avoid the "trend",open up their own style of clerical script writing,and improve the spiritual connotation of works.
