On The Musical Style And Playing Techniques Of Gaspar Casado's Suite For Unaccompanied Cello (1926)

Gaspar Cassado is a famous Spanish cellist,composer and arranger.Gaspar Cassado Suite for Cello Solo is a work published by Gaspar Cassado in 1926,which contains many difficult playing skills,rich musical emotions and distinctive style characteristics.It is an excellent and exquisite musical work of the 20 th century with considerable learning significance.This paper will combine domestic and foreign literature,as well as my own practice and performance experiences,to study this work in details.This paper is divided into three parts.The first part will briefly describe the life and past of Gaspar Cassado,the second part will describe the background of that time when this work was created and the music style of this work,and the third part will describe the embodiment of the music style and performance skills in each movement.
