A Study Of Folk Rap In Qing Opera Texts

During the Qing Dynasty,Folk quyi was very popular and loved by the public and scholars.In the Qing dynasty,the literati often mentioned the performance of Folk quyi in poems,notes,local Chronicles,novels and dramas,and most of them held a positive appreciation attitude towards Folk quyi.Of course,some literati despised Folk quyi from the perspective of moral decency.Some literati who appreciate Folk quyi also like to absorb artistic nourishment from Folk quyi to engage in opera creation,so rich Folk quyi elements are integrated into the opera text.By investigating the remains of Folk quyi in qing dynasty opera texts,we can find various forms of Folk quyi,such as Ditty,Tanci,Pinghua,Lianhualuo,Daoqing,Huagu/Yangge,Lianxiang,Tanhuang,and Jiolanger.The integration of Folk quyi into opera plays a positive auxiliary role in the depiction of opera characters,the promotion of drama plot narration,the construction of drama atmosphere and the vulgarization of drama style in terms of artistic aesthetic function,which can enhance the stage performance effect of opera to a certain extent.In terms of aesthetic cognition value,it can be used to understand some Folk quyi forms,performances(including artists,venues,content,methods,etc.)and the acceptance and dissemination of the situation,and to investigate some social,regional and cultural customs in the Qing Dynasty,as well as some of the popular aesthetic psychology in the Qing Dynasty.Therefore,the rich remains of Folk quyi in Qing Dynasty opera texts are of great reference value for the study of opera itself,the relationship between opera and Folk quyi and the art of Folk quyi.
