Vocabulary teaching is the foundation of language teaching.It carries the activities of English listening,speaking,reading and writing.It is the foundation of language communication,expression and application.In primary school English vocabulary teaching,students' memory of vocabulary,recognition of vocabulary sound and form,understanding of vocabulary meaning,interest in vocabulary learning and the ability of vocabulary expression and application are the top priorities of teaching.At present,there are some practical difficulties in primary school English vocabulary teaching,such as isolation of word teaching,fragmentation of vocabulary situation creation,fragmentation of teaching content,mechanization of activity creation and so on.In recent years,with the penetration of ecology in the field of education,many scholars try to examine English Vocabulary Teaching in primary schools from the perspective of educational ecology theory,and try to explore the organic overall relationship between people and language environment,so as to make up for the deficiencies in English vocabulary teaching from an interdisciplinary perspective Attitudes and methods to analyze and solve the non-ecological phenomena,so as to realize the development and transformation of students from cognitive field to life field,which conforms to the vocabulary teaching and training goal of the new curriculum concept and core literacy background.Based on this,this study intends to start with the core literacy of English discipline and the goal of ecological vocabulary teaching.Firstly,taking the primary school English vocabulary teaching ecosystem as the research object under theory of educational ecology,this paper expounds the ecological connotation,characteristics and ecological imbalance framework of primary school English vocabulary teaching.Secondly,questionnaire,interview,observation and other research methods are used to explore the non ecological phenomena and the causes of ecological imbalance,such as ignoring the relationship between ecological philosophy and the imbalance between vocabulary teaching concept and life development value orientation;In violation of the principle of "niche",the main body of vocabulary teaching and teaching environment are unbalanced,limited to the "flowerpot effect",and the distribution of spatial resources inside and outside vocabulary teaching is unbalanced;Deviating from the law of "tolerance and moderation",the implementation process of vocabulary teaching and learning is unbalanced;It violates the principle of "ecological chain" of education,and the ecological feedback mechanism of vocabulary teaching is unbalanced.Finally,it puts forward corresponding teaching suggestions: based on Ecological philosophical thinking,establish an ecological concept of vocabulary teaching;Break through the limitation of traditional space and create an ecological vocabulary teaching environment;Linkage multi-dimensional space field to create ecological vocabulary teaching resources;Integrate multiple learning methods and construct an ecological vocabulary teaching method;Pay attention to students' value-added development and improve the ecological vocabulary teaching evaluation system,so as to promote the ecological reform of English Vocabulary Teaching in primary schools.
