A Study Of Musical Images Of The Lute In The Liao Dynasty

Xian Qin is a popular musical instrument in the Liao Dynasty.It is rare in the existing historical records,but it appears many times in the music image.Taking the original Bohai Qin as the starting point,this paper discusses the Xian Qin and its related musical instruments by comparing the music image data in different periods and combined with historical materials.The first chapter starts with the relationship between Xiqin and Bohai Qin,explains the relationship between Xian Qin and Liao and other dynasties,expounds the other names and causes of Xian Qin,and makes textual research on the different uses of Xian Qin in different periods.The second chapter is the most important chapter of this paper.This paper selects nine music images related to the Xian Qin,and discusses the shape characteristics and playing posture of the Xian Qin from the aspects of image source,geographical analysis,picture content and the information contained in it,in order to restore the appearance,living conditions and the style of the times of the Xian Qin at that time.The third chapter demonstrates the musical instruments formed by the spread and development of Xian Qin in later generations.In this chapter,the musical instruments involved are divided into two categories.Through the records of literature and the information obtained from the analysis of the music image of the Xian Qin in the second chapter,this paper discusses the current state of the Xian Qin and infers the possible changes in the development process.
