Research On The Legal System For The Protection Of Drinking Water Sources

Water resources play an important role in human production and life.In recent years,due to the waste of water resources and the aggravation of pollution,the world is facing a severe shortage of drinking water resources.Facing the severe situation of increasing shortage of water resources,many countries in the world have taken certain measures to continuously improve the relevant legal system for the protection of drinking water sources and strengthen the protection of drinking water sources.At present,facing the problem of shortage of drinking water resources and serious pollution,China has not promulgated any special laws on the protection of drinking water sources.Although the laws and regulations such as "Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China","Water Law of the People's Republic of China" and "Water Pollution Prevention Law of the People's Republic of China" have already been promulgated and involve the protection of drinking water sources,the relevant provisions in these laws are not specific enough to adapt to the current protection situation of drinking water sources in China.The current situation of the protection of drinking water sources in China is not optimistic.There is a lack of systematicness in the legislative system for the protection of drinking water sources,and some provisions cannot meet the needs of practice.A series of problems such as imperfect legal system for the protection of drinking water sources.Firstly,this paper summarizes the protection of drinking water sources,introduces the protection of drinking water sources and its current situation,and the emergence and development of the legal system for the protection of drinking water sources.Then it analyzes the specific problems existing in the legal system of drinking water source protection in China.Finally,we can learn from the advanced experience of foreign developed countries in the protection of drinking water sources and combine with the basic national conditions of our country to achieve a more comprehensive improvement of the legal system for the protection of drinking water sources.
