COVID-19 is spreading around the world,affecting everyone,particularly among the poorest and most vulnerable members of society-Children.Children are the hope of a family and the future of a country.Although in present,most children have avoided the worst situations,their lives have been completely changed.In this particular stage,the protection of children's rights is all the more important.One of the criteria for judging the level of civilization of a country and society is the concern for the growth and development of children,especially under the outbreak of COVID-19.Whether children's rights are properly protected,and whether children can grow up healthily and develop in an all-round way,which is not only a matter for a family,for a country,but also for the whole world.In order to systematically study the protection of children's rights by the United Nations Children's Fund(UNICEF)under the COVID-19 situation,this paper first defines the concept of human rights and children's rights and elaborates this concepts,and including the classification of children's rights.Then,on the basis of introducing the basic situation and development history of UNICEF,it introduces the main protection measures in China taken by the United Nations Children's Fund to children so that everyone could have a deeper understanding of UNICEF.In addition,a brief overview of the current situation of the world's children during the COVID-19 epidemic,difficulties they encountered,and analysis of the main protection measures taken by UNICEF to protect children's rights during the COVID-19 epidemic;finally,by analyzing the problems of the United Nations Children's Fund in the protection of children's rights in special period,it points out the development prospect of the United Nations Children's Fund to the protection of children's rights.
