Japan has implemented foreign aid since 1954.Since entering the new century,after repositioning,a new unified foreign aid implementation agency: Japan International Cooperation Agency(JICA)has been established.After the reorganization of the organization,JICA not only implemented more effective foreign aid through technical cooperation,Japanese yen loans,and free aid,but also paid more attention to its propaganda strategy.It actively played the role of the agency as a platform for national public diplomacy to achieve market development,While promoting economic and trade development and other goals,it has effectively promoted Japan's international status and improved Japan's national image.In the Internet era,due to the rapid release of information,the easy storage of information,the huge advantages of browsing information free of time and geographic location,free of charge and being able to serve multi-population browsing at the same time,platform websites have gradually become a country's foreign propaganda and public diplomacy.Important position.The major changes that have not been seen in a century in 2020 and the major epidemics that have not been seen in a century are intertwined,which has greatly promoted the migration of public diplomacy and international communication from offline to online,from the real world to virtual space,and digital public diplomacy has become public diplomacy and international communication.New practice and new paradigm of communication.Stones from other hills,can learn.JICA's experience in digital public diplomacy through its English website is worth learning from China.This paper studies the English website of JICA from the perspective of international communication channels.Through the establishment of 7 indicators such as internationality and interactivity,24 secondary indicators such as user feedback and number of visits,and several tertiary indicators,we will analyze JICA's English website and explore how it can help international communication through website design.On this basis,Cambodia is selected as a country case to study the content of its English website.Finally,I tried to summarize and refine the advantages and disadvantages of the JICA English website,and put forward some suggestions on this basis.After analyzing the English website of JICA,the author found that:(1)The English website of JICA has gradually built a multi-media interaction mechanism.(2)It is less difficult to obtain the website accurately,and it is difficult to obtain the website with a confused search.(3)High degree of internationalization.(4)The related websites are poor in intensiveness and intelligence.(5)Poor interaction.
