A Study Of The Democratic Logic Of China's New Party System

The democratic logic of China's new political party system refers to the institutional logic of the "maximum number of conventions" that Chinese political parties constantly seek to embody the fundamental interests of the vast majority of the people in the course of democratic political development.Starting from the interaction between political parties and democracy,this logic systematically examines the democratic connotation,the course of democratic construction,the mode of democratic operation and the internal logic of how democracy innovates and develops.China's new political party system is a socialist national party democratic system based on the multi-party cooperation and political consultation system under the leadership of the Communist Party of China,which embodies the democratic characteristics of the multi-structured political party of Chinese political parties under the socialist whole view.Under the background of the two-dimensional separation of the democratic ideology and organization of representative political parties,Chinese political parties have always adhered to the path suitable for themselves--in order to organize the inner fit of the highly systematic ideology of the state,and constructed the system of democratic political party system with reasonable procedure and complete link of consultation democracy and up-down linkage.This paper shows the advantages of the political process of the two-way interaction between political parties and democracy in China's new political party system.By revealing the divisive nature of procedural democracy and substantive democracy in the western representative democratic system,that is,the divergence between the reality of capitalist party democracy with elitism as its core and the idealized procedural democracy theory,China's new political party system provides a new model of non-competitive cooperative party politics for the innovation and development of the world party system.It takes the highly institutionalized political party as the core,reflects the interests of the democratic parties at all levels of society by developing the control ability of the core political parties themselves over the environment and effectively integrates them,and achieves the organic unity of party democracy and nation-building and social development.It effectively avoids the danger of national and social division caused by the ideal construction of procedural democratic requirements under the leadership of western electoral democratic thought and the competition of actual political parties.The democratic operation mechanism of chinese-style consultative democratic political party system,which includes participation in political affairs,democratic supervision and political consultation,embodies the complete democratic logic of China's new political party system in the five dimensions of democratic election,democratic consultation,democratic decision-making,and democratic supervision,and carries forward the institutional advantages of socialist party democracy.On the one hand,it promotes the green development of Chinese party consultation and intra-Party democracy,on the other hand,the successful practice of the Chinese model helps to promote the development of political cooperation and democratization of international political parties.
