As the two fastest growing developing countries in the world,China and India enjoy friendly exchanges with India, which is of great significance to the stability and development of China, especially the border areas between China and India.China and India are geographically linked by mountains and rivers, and their border areas have a long history of friendly exchanges,In the process of the historical exchanges between China and India in the border areas, large and small mountain passes and channels have been formed. In history, people of all ethnic groups in the border areas have carried out continuous economic and trade exchanges and cultural exchanges with India and even the whole South Asia through these mountain passes and channels.Relying on these mountain passes and channels,a market exchange place has been formed in the folk custom. These mountain passes and channels promote the development of trade, cultural communication and ethnic integration in the border areas. The development of border trade has a huge role in promoting the economic growth of the border areas, improving the livelihood of the border areas.Religious activities based on the development of mountain passes and channels are conducive to the dissemination and exchange of religious culture, and are important for enhancing the feelings of the border people of both sides and maintaining the natural environment of the border areas Significance,at the same time,a stable border environment is conducive to the rational development and utilization of various resources in the border area, and the border communication with India was an important pillar of the development of the southwest border area of China.Since the 1950 s,there has been continuous disputes on the long border between China and India. After independence,India has followed the British colonial government's policy in Tibet, constantly encroaching on China's border territory, which has a negative impact on the stability and security of the border area between China and India. There are disputes between China and India over the three sections of the border, especially the eastern section.India actually controls about 90000 square kilometers of land in the eastern section of the border area between China and India, and set up an administrative region here to consolidate the de facto control over the illegally controlled eastern section of the border area between China and India by increasing investment in military and civil facilities in the area.At the same time, the eastern border area of China and India is rich in forestry, water conservancy and agricultural resources. After India actually controls most of the territory, these natural resources cannot be effectively utilized.Under such a realistic background,it is of great significance to explore the current situation of disputes between China and India in the eastern border area of China and India, and to put forward effective policy suggestions,so as to promote the economic development, religious and cultural exchanges and the rational use of resources in the border area.Firstly, through literature review, this study summarizes the historical situation of the eastern border area of China and India, understands the historical situation of its border trade, religious culture, residents' livelihood and other aspects, and in combination with current policies in recent years, roughly understands India's military actions in the eastern border area of China and India and its illegal acts of encroaching on China's border territory, including the establishment of military forces north of the "Mc Mahon line" Post Building, construction of military airport and road, conflict and confrontation in border areas, etc.Secondly, taking the areas controlled by China in the eastern border areas of China and India, such as Zana County,Longzi County,Lang County,Milin County, moto county and Chayu County,as the research areas, the actual investigation and research are carried out.Through discussion with the County Transportation Bureau and the border guard group,we can understand the local border guard situation, the current situation of border trade, economic industry, residents' livelihood, etc.,and collect the county annals and statistical yearbooks.During the discussion, according to the historical trade situation and the actual development of the border area,as well as the extent of India's encroachment on the area, each county selects one or two typical towns and villages, makes a field visit to their border trade passes and channels, and understands the local economic trade, religious culture, natural resource utilization before and after the encroachment in India,as well as the source of income and occupation type of the local border people. At the same time,Indian activity signs near the "actual control line" were obtained from the border patrol.By comparing the actual interview with the historical data, and analyzing the economic data of the well-developed border trade ports on the safe and unimpeded border between China and Nepal, this paper draws the conclusion that India's encroachment on the eastern border area of China and India has an impact on the local area:(1)India has invested a large number of troops in the illegally controlled eastern border area of China, and has continued to build military fortifications in Southwest China The security of border areas poses a huge threat, hinders the construction of China's border defense roads and the establishment of China's defense system in border areas.(2)India encroaches on Herdsmen's Grassland and forest, forbids Chinese border people to graze and collect herbs, destroys the stable development space of border areas, and affects the normal production and life order of border people(3)India blocks the important border trade mountain pass passage, interrupts the economic connection between the southwest border area of China and South Asia, and has a negative impact on the local economic development, which makes China unable to fully integrate South Asia To develop resources in South Asia.At the same time,it also forcibly changed the way of people's livelihood, making the border people who have been engaged in border trade and handicraft production in history have to rely on agriculture, animal husbandry and government subsidies to live.(4)India controls the most abundant region of Tibet resources in China, which seriously restricts the development and utilization of agricultural, water conservancy and forestry resources in the eastern border area of China and India, and has a negative impact on the development and utilization of local tourism resources.(5)India controls the religious center and "holy mountain and lake",blocks the transfer channel from mountain to lake for people's religious activities, and affects the dissemination and exchange of religion and culture in the border areas. Finally,in view of the above specific reality, the paper puts forward corresponding policy suggestions, and seeks ways to promote China India cooperation and the development of China's border areas from various aspects.
