With the increasing interest of primary and secondary school students in tennis,the reform of physical education curriculum in basic education also provides opportunities for the implementation of tennis curriculum.This text uses the method of documents and materials,questionnaire investigation,interview method and field research method,dig into five Beijing schools education to carry out the detailed content of research and explains the tennis project experience and characteristics,for our country to carry out the project of middle and primary school tennis practical,actionable advice.The research conclusions are as follows:1 The teaching objectives and contents are mainly set around tennis skills and knowledge,with reasonable difficulty and distinct levels.All kinds of tennis equipment and venues suitable for students’ physical and mental development can be used for teaching.The course evaluation is well in line with the course objectives,focusing on tennis skills and knowledge.2 The extracurricular tennis activities are mainly tennis clubs,and also include tennis class break,morning exercise and class break exercise.The training content of tennis teams is more professional and the content of confrontation is more.The extracurricular tennis competition is dominated by the social organization competition outside the school.Haidian foreign language schools’ competition is the most outstanding,and Beinong affiliated primary school has the best performance in the short tennis.3 With the gradual improvement of students’ cognition of tennis,compared with primary school students,junior middle school students pay more attention to the goal of tennis courses,have a higher degree of interest in the content of the courses,have a wider range,and have a higher self-evaluation on their own progress.All students of our school are generally satisfied with the implementation of the course.Students’ needs for sports team training and competition cannot be fully met.The number of students who take part in tennis in their spare time is small.4.The experience and characteristics of the Beijing schools first lie in making good use of policies and resources outside the school.Secondly,the quality of tennis education is determined by diversification,layering and wide popularization.Finally,the effective interaction among school,family and society makes tennis education more lasting and diffuse.The existing problems are as follows: first,relying too much on policy support leads to insufficient resources of the school itself.Second,too much emphasis on professionalism leads to the "polarization" of students.Third,the school leadership level is not enough attention.Fourth,the unbalanced investment of teachers leads to "talent disconnection".Fifth,too much emphasis on autonomy and neglect of guidance to students.
