The Yao long-drum dance is not only the portrayal of the life scenes of the Yao ancestors,such as house building,labor,migration,ancestor worship,simulation of animals and plants,but also a cultural complex that inherits the ethnic culture in the form of body language.This paper takes the case analysis of the research and choreography of the Yao long-drum dance teaching material in Hunan Province as an example to sort out and explore the formation process of the teaching material vertically.The paper is divided into three parts: 1.An overview of the folk form of the Yao long-drum dance in Hunan Province;2.An elaboration of the practical process of the case;3.The author's reflection on the law of action language refining and the principles of building the uniqueness of the folk dance materials.The author's research and choreography practice starts from the extraction of core elements,which are summarized as the body rhythm of "bending,trembling,leisurely and twisting" and the use of the long drums".At the same time,the author has extracted the morphological characteristics of "squatting side twisting" and the dynamic characteristics of "flashing and turning".It is also an aesthetic style that emphasizes "flexibility and robustness with elegance and softness".In the structure and arrangement of teaching materials,the teaching materials are classified according to the functional structure of combination and the main principle is to run through the core dynamic laws and keep the unique folk action programs,so that the actions,phrases,and combinations of the teaching materials can be arranged in a vertical and horizontal system,which facilitates the students to build up a knowledge network and learn more clearly.The characteristics of the ethnic folk dance teaching materials need to rely on the unique action language.The action language design of this teaching material to achieve the goal of "carrying culture with dance,influencing people with culture",emphasizing both body training and cultural acquisition.Moreover,the vitality of ethnic folk dance teaching materials comes from the the uniqueness of folk dance.The exploration and practice of the teaching materials should be carried out under the attention of regional,mass and inheritance,so as to better revitalize the ethnic and folk dance teaching materials.
