The soft ladder exercise was introduced by the United States to the country at the end of the 20 th century.As a modern and new physical training method,it is effective in improving athletes’ movement speed,coordination,and other physical qualities.However,through a review of the literature review and interviews with many physical education teachers,it was found that there are not that many researches about using ladder exercises in physical education,and most physical education teachers,especially schools’ teachers in rural regions and small town,have not studied this system scientifically.The practice method and basic theory of soft ladder training are also relatively vague.This research uses the literature review method,questionnaire survey method,expert interview method,mathematical statistics method,and teaching experiment method.Besides,It covers the questionnaire survey of physical education teachers in Jilin City Fifth Middle School,Jilin City Seventh Middle School,Jilin City Ninth Middle School,and Jilin City Thirteenth Middle School.Jilin City Seventh Middle School,junior high school,17 natural classes,selected 2 class students as experimental objects,randomly divided into experimental group and control group,the experimental group of students in the physical education class preparation soft ladder exercises,the control group for routine Physical education.Finally,80 effective results were selected from 92 experimental subjects for Statistics and analysis.After 16 weeks of teaching experiments,the conclusions are as follows:1.The questionnaire survey shows that the soft ladder exercise has changed the traditional warm-up form in the past.It has the characteristics of simple and easy operation,no restrictions on the venue,and novel and unique methods.It can effectively stimulate the students’ interest in physical education,and it makes the practical application in middle school physical education feasible.2.Through the subjective experience scale of students,it was found that using the ladder’s exercises in the preparation activities of physical education can promote the improvement of students ’ attitudes towards physical education and enhance students’ satisfaction and happiness in preparing activities for physical education.Ladder training is attractive to students because of its unfamiliar,compact and unique practice methods,making students more enthusiastic about participating in the exercises.3.After the sixteenth week of a soft ladder teaching experiment,the average score in the experimental group reflecting the sensitivity and coordination indicators of junior high school students is higher than the average score in the control group,and the scores are significantly improved when comparing between groups after the experiment.Ladder exercises have a better effect on improving junior high school students’ sensitivity and coordination than traditional preparation activities.4.After the sixteenth week of a soft ladder teaching experiment,the average score of the speed index in the experimental group reflecting the junior high school students was higher than the average score of the control group.There is no significant improvement.Therefore,it is shown that there is no obvious difference between the effect of the soft ladder practice preparation and the traditional preparation activity on the improvement of junior high school students ’speed quality,that is mean,the soft ladder practice cannot directly promote the junior high school students’ speed quality improvement in the physical education preparation activities.
