Research On The Relationship Among Aggressiveness And Cognitive Emotion Regulation Strategies,Maternal Parenting Style In Secondary Vocational School Students

With the rapid development of economic,science and technology,the gap between regions has been widening,which brings a sharp increase of contradictions and conflicts.Due to these contradictions,aggressive incidents among the secondary vocational students have occurred from time to time,of mutual insults,malicious slander,fights and even the use of weapons to harm life,which has seriously affected the physical and mental health as well as academic progress of the students,bringing many destabilizing factors to the society.Based on this,this study attempts to explore the influence mechanism of cognitive emotion regulation strategy and maternal parenting style on aggressiveness from the perspective of the above two,so as to provide a path for preventing and intervening the aggressiveness of secondary vocational school students.The study is divided into two parts.In the first part,based on the theoretical construction and related research results of aggression,the aggressiveness questionnaire for secondary vocational school students is complied in the study.In the second part,the author measures the aggressiveness of secondary vocational students,cognitive emotional regulation strategy and maternal patenting style,and analyses their influence mechanism on aggressiveness,in use of the above-mentioned aggressiveness questionnaire,combined with the existing Cognitive Emotional Adjustment Questionnaire and Parental Parenting Style Evaluation Scale(Mother's Subscale).The result shows that:(1)There are 46 items in the Aggressive Questionnaire for Secondary Vocational Students compiled by this research,which has good reliability and validity.(2)The aggressiveness of secondary vocational students is significantly different in gender and grade,mainly in the boys' scores of aggressiveness is much higher than that of girls,and that level of third-grade is remarkably higher than that of first-year and second-year secondary vocational students.(3)The negative cognition emotion regulation strategy of secondary vocational students is significantly different in maternal education standard,mainly in the negative cognition emotion regulation strategy for primary or below,middle school,technical secondary school and high school of maternal education level is much higher than that in college degree and above.The positive cognition emotion regulation strategy of secondary vocational students is significantly different in maternal education standard,mainly in the positive cognition emotion regulation strategy for technical secondary school and high school of maternal education level is much higher than that in primary or below,college degree and above.(4)Maternal negative parenting style of secondary vocational students is significantly different in gender and grade,mainly in the boys' score of maternal negative parenting style is much higher than that of girls,and that level of third-grade is remarkably higher than that of first-year and second-year secondary vocational students,meanwhile,first-grade is much higher than that of second-grade students.(5)There are remarkable relativity between aggressiveness,negative cognition emotion regulation strategy and maternal parenting style(both positive and negative).(6)Negative parenting style and positive parenting style of mothers can significantly predict negative cognition emotion regulation strategies.Negative cognitive emotion regulation strategies can remarkably predict aggressiveness.Negative maternal parenting styles can significantly predict aggressiveness positively,while positive parenting styles of mothers can expressively predict aggression negatively.(7)Negative cognition emotion regulation strategy plays a mediating role between maternal parenting styles(both positive and negative)and aggressiveness.The study finally obtained the following research conclusions:(1)There are 46 items in the Aggressive Questionnaire for Secondary Vocational Students compiled by this research,which has good reliability and validity.(2)The aggressiveness of secondary vocational students is significantly different in gender and grade,the cognition emotion regulation strategy of secondary vocational students is significantly different in maternal education standard,maternal negative parenting style of secondary vocational students is significantly different in gender and grade.(3)There are remarkable relativity between aggressiveness,negative cognition emotion regulation strategy and maternal parenting style(both positive and negative),negative cognition emotion regulation strategy plays a mediating role between maternal parenting styles(both positive and negative)and aggressiveness.Based on the results of this study,the relevant information of the aggressiveness of secondary vocational students can be further enriched,thus providing relevant opinions for preventing and interfering with the aggressiveness of secondary vocational students.
